I figured that. Yet if you ever felt or held a piece of rail it seems pretty
rigid. That train must be carrying 50 lengths of rail. I know they have been
bending rail since the 1830s or so.

Rail has to be flexible otherwise how would you lay a curve?
Telephoto lens the guy making the video used makes the track curve look a lot
more severe than it actually is.
