Puns are the lowest form of humor. That prolly splains why I enjoy 'em. :)

I've been roughing it there for the last 10 years or so. If I can sleep in the cab of an old pickup truck, I can probably handle "in tents" hardship of having a place where I can stand up and even put a boxer fan to move the air a bit. It's more than I have in the back of the Burb, which is a vast improvement over the Ugly Truck,

As I understand it, the location has been moved from the west side to the east...primarily because they ran out of room in the allotted space and that little construction project kinda made things a bit messy.

We'll see.

I just exchanged emails with Jon Wennerberg, the owner of www.landracing.com . He and I have done the semi-life forumcasts from the salt flats for the last coupla years. Gonna do the same this year. But I'm gonna have to be there at least 4 days early to cover the course setup. So I'm tryin to get some camping gear together and it looks like I might be able to borrow a two-room wall tent. A bedroom and sitting room, no less. I think I'll see if I can find a coupla carpet remnants to put on the floor...and I'm gonna pick up a generator today. 3.5 kva otta be plenty to handle my needs. Gonna be an interesting salt flats season.
