Iâm glad you said something, I learned Braille back in the 70S and early 80S
and was feeling lost in this conversation.:)

it trivially expands to bases up to 36.
Though the mention of 8-dot Braille does make me curious: do dots 7
and 8 see much use outside of acting as an insertion pointer?
