[radioastro] Jovian HOM, not a Solar burst, September 8 2009

The event on September 8, near 17 to 18 UT, was Jovian HOM, hectometric
wavelengths, .3 to 3 Mhz, non-Io-B, CML about 100 to 140 deg:

It followed the B2.2 flare from region 1025, but had nothing to do with it.

At this time, non-Io-B HOM is being recorded frequently by STEREO WAVES.

That is not always the case.

The SW Archive starts on October 27 2006, and has close to 1000 daily
summaries.
I have studied only a few of them !
