The event on September 8, near 17 to 18 UT, was Jovian HOM, hectometric wavelengths, .3 to 3 Mhz, non-Io-B, CML about 100 to 140 deg: http://swaves.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/s-waves-ds/2009/swaves_summary_20090908_c.png It followed the B2.2 flare from region 1025, but had nothing to do with it. At this time, non-Io-B HOM is being recorded frequently by STEREO WAVES. That is not always the case. The SW Archive starts on October 27 2006, and has close to 1000 daily summaries. I have studied only a few of them ! I attach a detail of the spectrum.
