Just create and attach a text file. It displays the contents of the text file
on the summary page.
Alternatively as someone mentioned, you can create a custom attribute in order
to put in a link to a Wiki document. I believe the attributes can only be
single line text boxes or drop downs (dictionary values).
If you really want to, you can code a plugin that would show up as an
additional tab with a large multiline text box.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your ideas and have looked into using the
comment-field and I guess it could work if no other solutions are possible even
though I would have preferred to have that information stored as an attribute
instead since I prefer the way that information is stored in the database.
