Precisely. Then add a new attribute to an ObjectType, enumerating what
other objects it can contain. ObjectType "Row" can contain ObjectType
"Rack", etc. Make this editable, so people with less formal equipment
can allow rooms to contain equipment (that AP you have on your wall, the
printer, etc).

But the hard part (and much of the point of racktables) is the visual display. Can you generalize how nested objects should appear? Or should only racks be displayed with the containing objects just used for navigation?. Or only the innermost objects - or objects that have rack position and size attributes?
