I just got my first UCS installation and try to get the UCS discovery working
I installed the SDK, created an object as Management Interface, selected Cisco
UCS Domain on the properties, added interface mgmt. with the IP-address of the
UCS manager and entered the correct username and password on the UCS tab.
I get the error message
telnet error: ERROR: please specify prompt regexp (-h for help) at ./telnet
line 36.
For a UCS device (and from your description above it looks like the device is
recognized as UCS) the protocol (and thus the gateway script) name is "ucssdk",
not "telnet". Does this instance of RackTables have a local plugin/addon that
defines a function terminal_settings() that unconditionally sets the protocol
to "telnet" in the parameters it fills in?
