No, in snmp generic, it is not possible to get tthe correct port type, if,
for example there is only fiber types on the switch. So, i have to choose
the empty SFP+ and after that, i have to change all the ports one by one
(to 10G Base SR for ex).

In your case is it possible to get the correct port type from
snmpgeneric.php in the first place? Even if the ports form becomes
single-submit, the user would still need to change 50 SELECTs.
