Hi,

init.cssd checks periodically for different deamon (CSS deamon) either they are
running or not. It write messages to log file each time it performs a check.
you can get more information in init.cssd script about the logic.

On all of our Linux RAC implementations, it seems that the init.cssd
generates a number of messages (about 1 a minutes) to the /var/log/messages
file. Does anyone understand why the init.cssd is generating this large
number of messages and is this a cause for concern? Is there anyone else
using a Linux/RAC environment that has seen this?

Thanks JPD
