The implementation of the adjustable pivot is a simple but great idea! I
haven't seen it elsewhere so far.
About the direct drive, I've been thinking about it a lot and it has been
discussed on this list a very long time ago. But I think, so far no one has
built a direct drive python, at least not to my knowledge, so I am very
much looking forward to hearing about your riding experience. Especially
about the turning behavior.

This is the new Python I am building. It will have a direct drive on the
front wheel like a penny farthing.
The interesting part for me is the adjustable pivot to find the best
pivot angle for this beast. Will see how it works out, hopefully soon.
