The implementation of the adjustable pivot is a simple but great idea! I
haven't seen it elsewhere so far.
About the direct drive, I've been thinking about it a lot and it has been
discussed on this list a very long time ago. But I think, so far no one has
built a direct drive python, at least not to my knowledge, so I am very much
looking forward to hearing about your riding experience. Especially about the
turning behavior.
