i for one have not seen something like it. A freewheel should work, however. You might be able to reuse a freewheel of a conventional gear unit from a rear wheel. Also, you could adjust the lenght of the leaver to reduce breaking power, since you are probably using a hand-powered braking system with your feet now! Also, i would go for a little dead zone, such that you can reverse your pedalling for a little distance befor the braking kicks in. Maybe you can let loose the other end of the freewheel, such that it reverses until it reaches a fixed point together with the part attached to the pedals.
