I worked with stainless steel, 20 x 1 mm and 25 x 1.5mm. Weight for the
bike is 14 kg of which the 7-speed hub gear weighs the most. Add the weight
of the harness and bags and mudguards and the final weight is 15.5 kg. I
will post some detailed photos when I get to them. Otherwise it is a
front-wheel-drive, front-wheel-steering bike, specifically made so when I
fold and secure the front section of the bike, I can walk with the bike on
my back (with the harness on me of course). The most important innovation
bike-wise is the 3D frame which serves as a protection for my back
(something like a chassis) and holds the bag in place + it is great as a
Mateus, you should try paragliding, but be warned, for some people it is
really addictive, you cannot let go of it (not for all though). Lots of
airspace regulations, but don't bother about it, that's not a concern at
the beginning and manageable when you get more skilled in the sport.

There is enough legislation for paragliding to go around. You are flying
after all. Start with a week course in the mountains to get the taste. Bit
be warned. It can be addictive. Being in the air wit no engine noise.

is there some kind of legislation limiting where you can glide? or is it

I have built a python for paragliding a few years ago. This is my
second version. It is not a python because it has positive steering, but
lots of ideas of the python build are included in this bike. And it rides
and flies really well.
