 at first, thanks for your replies.
Jürgen, i seriously like your long distance cycling route,
http://www.heinztomato.de/wiki/pmwiki/index.php (Olafs link)
And Dirk, yes there is a lot of info in google groups.
Hanno, thanks for the great wiki link, it is a bit more like i mean,
http://wiki.HPV.at/Hauptseite
where you find some overview, and run by the people.

one site i like a lot is;
http://www.treehugger.com/

i like their appealing design, categorisation, interact, take action.
what i don't see though is a category for HPV.
also the "interact section" misses member forum/community or something,
and the "take action" part i would categorise like the "get informed"

heck, i am going to write them about it.
python should be part of a HPV section there, don't you think?

one background to my question of a categorised eco platform,
with member interaction on different projects (python eg.)
is that right now i am helping somebody to setup an Internet community.

Thanks everyone, Dirk Jan
