Riding the python downhill with 70 km/h is only for
experienced riders. With p1 it took me about 4000 km
until I dared it. So do not expect that you can try it
after a few hundreds of kilometers.
Yesterday I tried my first longer tour with p3. I went
60 km with 30 kg of luggage. And even though p3 is
quite similar to p1 (same steering angle of 67 deg), it
behaves different and I felt unsafe from 40 km/h
upwards and had to brake downhills.
Riding the python (like the flevobike) is some kind of
psychological game. If you feel unsafe, the bike will
throw you off. Only if you are totally relaxed it works.
I think Peter made a similar experience. And it makes me
glad to hear that he´s found the key.
