just wanted to say, that in my opinion disc brakes are well suited for the
front wheel.
Yes, you can achieve higher braking forces with them, but that's not a
must. A good hydraulic disc brake can easily dosed. Also there is much less
dependence on weather conditions like rain or snow mud. On my trike I never
had problems because of the disc brake. So from my point of view, disc
brakes are more likely a recommendation.
