I did some testing with my new direct drive Python and published the
results on my blog.
I am not trying to drive traffic to my blog, I couldn't care less about
traffic on it.
The reason for writing there is that I can give a better description with
photos and wysiwyg, better than in an email.
The results confirmed the original Python findings: I found that 63-64
degrees work best for a Python pivot. There was a gradual degradation of
riding performance at shallower angles and a steep drop-off at 66degrees
when going up to steeper angles.
