Hi Mathieu et bienvenue to the python mailinglist.
Your build is indeed one of the closest according to my construction
plans. Thanks for your trust and I wish you lots of fun while building,
learning and riding. And special thanks for sharing your experiences and
photos.
Salut,
Jürgen.

Dear Python community members,
As a new mailing list member, I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Mathieu, I am located near Grenoble, France.
I have been interested in recumbent cycles for years, but surprisingly I
had never tried one so far.
I found a picture of a Python on the net, few months ago, and then I
found the Python website. The great explanations and pictures made me
want to build one, which I did recently.
I am now able to say I am the proud owner of a nearly finished Python,
rollable but without brakes nor gear mechanism yet ;-)
So here is the bike with its owner in the attachement !
I also put many pictures on Facebook album :

The bike is very close to the one described on the construction page.
The major difference is the 20" front wheel I used, because I am smaller.
I knew absolutely nothing about bike construction or welding. I kept
very close to the original model for my first try.
Now I have some experience, I will probably be more creative on the next
ones !
I am now learning how to ride this great bike, which is quite interesting !
According to the Python website and the e-mails in the archive, you guys
seem to have good fun and great ideas. I hope we will have good
discussions in the future !
Mathieu
