Happy New Year, All,

http://en.openbike.org/wiki/Python_Projects_Survey
has a little more data (see attached plot)
Popular wheelbase is around 115cm.  Cargo bike starts around 160cm with the
Pythoon

This bouncy futon bike had wheelbase longer than 240cm

Unanticipated sudden cargo movement can affect steering adversely, at 2:00, but
recovery is quite feasible at medium/low speed.  A forward-facing passenger can
actually help steer / stabilize the bike as backseat driver :)  In current form
as a leaning trike, wheelbase is only 140cm, long enough for a passenger or
quite a bit of cargo, gaining 25cm width,

Handling is more like a wagon / minivan (long & low :) not too bad when empty,
but more attention should be paid to the precious cargo regardless of the
vehicle... Carrying a small child / pet in front like Dirk demonstrated seems
like a safer solution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMyq4LnJBic, otherwise
like commercial bikes/trikes, a box with seat & belt should be a safe bet.

Cheers,

Vi

      unusual.  http://www.python-lowracer.de/projects.html shows a
table with the measurements of some pythons.
