I'm Vincent, a friend of Laurent Dechenne.
This week-end, I met Serge Prinz who told me he didn't knew about the
death of Laurent last june, and that probably no one on the python
mailing list knew.
So here's the sad story:
For the last months, Laurent went back to one his passions: climbing.
On Sunday 14th of last june, he was climbing at Marche-les-Dames,
Belgium, along the river Meuse, between Liège and Namur. Unfortunately,
he falled from the top of his climb, about 20 meters down.
He suffered major head injuries, and doctors didn't succeed keeping him
alive. After one week in deep coma, on monday 22 he passed away.
He was 38 years old.
