Hi Christian,
Yes, the fender looks like an important part.
I initially built one like Jürgen's, but I used brown tape and it was
uggly. By the way, you can still see traces on the frame on my pictures :-)
I live in France, near Grenoble. I bought this from Leroy Merlin. I know
they have shops in many countries, but I don't know if they are in Germany.
I bought it about 10 years ago. It is written "EDA plastiques" on it. It is
actually a 80 l bin, not a 100 l.
There is a similar one here :

I am sure you will find one, but in the worst case, I still got a second
one in my basement ;-)

Hi Mathieu,
thanks for sharing this genius idea!
The front fender is one of the weaker parts with my 20“ python currently.
Every time I go for a ride in the woods I get sprayed with little bits of
mud when I pass a wet section.
Will have to look for something like your lid here in Germany.
Does it have a brand on it?
What kind of shop did you get it from? Where do you come from?

Hi All,
I found a funny way of building a fender for my 20" Python front wheel.
I just made it from a plastic dustbin cover, cut into 2 parts that I
I used the cover of a 100 liters workshop dustbin, that you can easilyfind in home improvement supplies shops.
I thought it woud be worth sharing it, as I find the result pretty coolconsidering the investment.

You will see that I am also working on a custom seat, but that is an
