Thanks for the nice comments.
The bike is part of my experiment with larger wheels, 24" and 26", and 29" when
I can find a donor, and continuation with folding theme. It seems I going back
to the Flairbike / Flevo root, and find that it's not too bad. Wiki page is

The trail is part of the greater bay area trail network, which is getting final
connections (new funding). The water seems to keep this place very cool year
round, and even cold for some folks. At the same segment, I ran into a tourist
who flew in from Germany, bought a bike, and toured the bay. If any pythonaut
come this way, I can offer a loaner (python sharing program?)
Hope the scenery helps with python appeal, in addition to the hands-free
riding...
