[python] Re: Fine for python riding?

I ride the python for 11 years now. Never had problems with the police. In fact there is no german law that demands handle bars for bikes.


There is just a law that says, the rider/driver should be enabled of controlling the vehicle at any give time ;-)

    Hi,
    according to an automobil club, in Germany the free hand riding of a
    bike is threatened by a fine of 5€.
    At least, according to the automobil club, there is an explicit item in
    the new schedule of fines.

    This is rather odd since it seems to suggest they did not not to take
    the possibility into account that bikes could be steered by other means
    that the hands!
    Maybe some lobby work is required? Maybe we could apply to the UN.;-)
