I ride my 20" folder (Bipolar) most often because it goes with me everywhere.
My 28" also fits in the boot but tires are not suitable for trail. The 26" is a
bit bulky but OK if I don't have rear passengers. Each bike has different
quirks, pivot angel, trail, alignment issue, gearing, brakes, tires, seat
angle, conditions... so it's hard to pinpoint the wheel size effect among other
parameters. Each bike has its own strengths / weaknesses and I like them all
:). If I must, I would rate 16" last unless compactness is key.
For a more objective study, I am planning to put smaller wheels on my 28" bike
to eliminate other factors. I just need coaster-brake wheels. Dirk probably
uses front disc brake so changing wheel size should be simple too...

Great! Requesting pictures, when finished ;-) I am especially
curious to see how the 26" front wheel and your inseam length go
together ...

differences to the 20" wheels you are used to, especially when
riding fast.

PS+BTW: Exactly today 12 years ago I did the first roll-out with my
P3. Today it is still my favorite bike for recreation and fast
cruising. I ride it about 60 km every week. The versatility ranges
from creeping through the woods with my dogs to smoking roadies at
40 km/h. My life would be incomplete without this bike :-)
