Some quick updates on my favorite bike:
Rear pivot is quite useful for folding but other methods should do fine. For
steering, it's still interesting and somewhat useful.

In previous study, the rear wheel seemed to complement / follow the front wheel
when stationary, probably due to the body moment. https://youtu.be/abNt5v9CsHg
In motion, the rear wheel now seems to counteract the pedal steering
interference. Don't have steering data yet but by the tuck of the rear handle
bar it feels like a significant correction of the bike direction.
Unfortunately I don't ride fast enough to see benefits...
