Luckily mine is a trike so stands on it's rear wheels.
Is yours a one piece BB ?
I assume the latch is held in place with the BB screw/nut and a suitable
washer ?
Are there pictures on the net of your implementation ?

Aaah, I take that back. Turning the holder upside down is not a good idea, as it is a safety feature that the latch is up.
By the way, the BB has a tendency to unscrew on my bike.

Hi Paul,
I used 6.5mm on the baby python (didn't have a BB but similar axle distance).
The idea with the latch is very nice. If your bike will be fitted with a bike stand on the rear part you might want to turn the holder upside down to ease the assembly of the front onto the rear part.

Hi all
Is the owner of this web site still a visitor to this forum ?
http://www.lasinenherne.net/recumbent.html
I would like to replicate his BB mount however I am unsure of the
thickness of steel used ?
From the pictures of the actual bike it looks like there are additional
pieces top and bottom providing some triangulation ?
Has anyone else used a BB without using steel crank arms to mount it to
the backbone ?
regards Paul
