Hi Frank,
I admittedly have similar problems when riding the trike of my daughter. I am used to steer by leaning but on a rigid trike that's not possible. I recommend handlebars to support the steering. A friend converts his python every winter into a tilting trike (Duschar joint). No problems with that:

Yesterday happend something strange. I started from work and want to
ride home, but i can' t.
I drive from the company on the small way turn left on the street and
