In Danmark, bikes get a
registration number ingraved on its frame. When a bike is
found, the police can look the bike up in a database. But
homebuilders like me have to overcome a lot of obstacles to
obtain a number (e.g. documentation of ownership, hahaha!),
so effectively homebuilt bikes have no number.
A GPS tracker would be worth a consideration, especially now
I finally understood that the pythoon is to important for me
to lose. Do you know of an affordable/usable GPS tracker? I
found this:

(about 100€)

Since
the Pythoon is even more famous now, it may not
need a lock anymore.

the paper offered a follow up story? how about TV
/ YouTube report? Olaf?

also distance, speed, time...
Cheers,
