Thanks Dirk for the tip.  I like Erik's lower rear pivot idea, will try it out 
on the Guinea Pig.

Frank, as a trike it's no where nearly as elegant / compact as Howard's, but it 
can probably carry some cargo in its own travel case (need to find / make one),
