I thougt about that too, especially about the short peace of handlebar.
Should be a very good solution to the problem that it is forbidden to ride a bike freehand in germany. No policeman can say anything, cause you are satisfying the law by having the handlebar in the hand. No law says that the handlebar has to be fixed to the bike ;-) I will cut a round tube tomorrow ...
