Hi Kurt,

Hope you recover well.  I suppose some leg safety consideration is in order, 
chain ring cover? shin guard?  How about forgo the clips altogether?  foot 
straps?  Coaster brake seems to help me focused on keeping my feet on pedals at 
all time...
