I almost always notice that the curl comes back, usually more so with glossy rather than matte surfaces.

I usually leave the ones I need to be completely flat in the cold press for a few weeks or so, between sheets of mat board.

You may also find that the prints gain back some of the curl after they come
out of the cold press. I have seen this in both really damp climates and
really dry ones, but mostly in damp ones.
