How did you get the prison scenes or negatives? They're somewhat
morbid but good reportage. B&W is the best medium for this subject
because the subject is about extremes.
Morbid is exactly the right word for the death chamber.
I worked with an architect who was researching prison architecture.
He hired me to be the photographer for his project. We had a little
show here in houston and he gave a lecture about prison architecture.
It took a long time for him to get permission to photograph in the
prison, months in fact. Then they changed supervisors and wardens
and he had to start all over.
