As Jim said, these are just starting points. Most filter manufacturers list similar starting points for their filters. I use mostly Tiffen filters and my tests with Tmax-100 showed them about a 1/3 stop faster than Tiffen's recommendations. Using the manufacturers recommendation, you should be close. 1 stop for Yellow 8 seem about right to me. Regards Ralph W.
