I still have my old K&E that I bought in my freshman year at university
and which served me well from 1969 to 1974. Of course, at that time we
began punching cards for the Xerox computer that took up most of the
library basement. I think it had 1 meg memory and, was it as little as,
64k ram!?!?!

I so wanted to buy one of them!
I got one,
I spotted it stored under some stairs, and asked the head of department,
could I have it. I now have t on loan from the department, who have the
option to ask for it back!
I bought two Ikea trestles, and its now a computer desk.

Hi,
So like my 8x10 2-D camera with a 360mm
lens has big bellows sag, and for a long time
I couldn't figure a simple solution. Then I
tried a slide rule: just right! It adjusts for length
and the clear plastic gives extra support that moves,
plus it anchors on the front and back wooden shelves
of the camera.
I think I learned how to add and subtract with it but
that's about it. Maybe a portrait prop today.
