That's interesting.  The Ilford warmtone I've used does have a 
distinctly creamy base.  It is easy to pick out the warmtone prints 
in a stack just by looking at the borders.  I'm now working with 
Forte's polywarmtone fiber, which has a whiter base than the ilford 
mgwt fb.
