I still use my 41cv from college, for some reason, I have a spare and I
can't remember where it came from. I now have the 41 on my iPhone and it
has all the software packs on it. Oh, and it's FAST. lol
I'm afraid to keep batteries in them lest they leak on my gold contacts.

Yes, there are some very good emulators for laptops, and for the
iPhone/Android systems out there

P.S. I had and used a slide rule for a few years; Tim has a great point
about learning
orders of magnitude. Truth be told, I haven't seen that slide rule since
1979 or so.
