Hi,

I am playing a bit with a trick I read quite some time ago on Newsnet on
making your home-made groundglass with parafilm:=20
see:

It seems to be a neat way of making a groundglass, the first tries look
very promising (provided that you can lay your hands on
parafilm..;-)..).

To realy finish this project in a nice way I would like to have grid
lines on the glass. I could draw them carefully, or make an overlay of a
grid printed/copied on a sheet of transparant material. But I was
wondering if there is a method of engraving the glass with tiny straight
scratches, and then rubbing in say India ink?

thanks,

Best,

Cor
