I have a Giotto MT 9251. It is much lighter than my old tripod, and it's
easier to carry. It has padding on the legs where they would rest on your
shoulder as you walk, and it has a strap also for carrying.

It took me a while to learn that you have to tighten the screws on the legs
pretty tight so that the legs don't start sinking under the weight of the
camera. My old tripod has wing nuts, sort of, and although they are easier to
use in a way, they can pinch your fingers badly.

The one bad thing about this Giotto tripod is that it is a little harder to
adjust the legs than my old tripod.
