Thanks Craig! Cool! A working dilution one shot deal
is perfect for what I'm looking at. Now to
extrapolate a development time from all this. I
didn't see any info on staining characteristics
though. Did I miss them?

RE: shadow detail, I don't think anything I could use
will pull much out from there at 6400. I told the
client that this isn't a good way to evaluate pyro but
he still wants to try it. If it seems just plain
risky or unworkable, I'll tell him so.

This sounds like a bad combo for a pyro
experience.... I've foundD3200 to be more like
1000-1200 in PyroCat-HD. In medium format, itgave me
very decent 8X10's but I can't imagine digging any
shadowdetail out of those 6400 shots. Here's a pyro
based formula thatsounded as if it might have some
speed enhancing capability.

I only tried it once and made an error and never got
back to it totry again.

I have a client who "wants to try" pyro but has
givenme some Delta 3200 he shot at 6400. =\In going
over the development times and so forth, Idon't thnk
it's possible w/either PMK or Pyrocat HDbecause the
stain would be just too much at such longdevelopment
times. I found Ed Buffalo had run his3200 at an EI of
1600 for 30 minutes in standingdevelopment.I'd like to
get this client into pyro but I don'tthink it will
"work" for what he's shot here.Anyone else tried 6400
EI film with a pyro formula?Eric
