Hi Nicholas,

I just tried your experiment with a several strips of unprocessed paper in Selenium and I got exactly the same thing.

Yesterday, I redid the prints, using the proper hypo for FIXER and the last of my Agfa MultiClassic 8x10 and toned them in Selenium. Exactly what i wanted.

Anyway, Nicholas, you'll be seeing the results in several weeks when I send the prints out in the PSPE. Probably start the mailing process next week.

regards, bogdan

KRST was turning brown despite the washing. There was still acid in the paper

It isn't the acid, it is the silver salts in the unfixed paper.

Take a few ml of KRST, add a few chips of unprocessed paper,
swish it around and wait a minute or so and you should see
about the same thing.
