I use it as an interpositive only. - neg to positive making step. I use it
there because it almost never failed to capture EVERYthing in my original
negative when making the platinum printing negs.

DEAR ERIC ET ALIA,

The only problem with the Ilford Ortho is that the max size I
see available is 8X10. Anyone know of larger formats of this film? Ilford
ortho also gives a decent D-max with your recommended dev.

The problem with the Arista or most lith films in general is, by the time
you tame the contrast by diluting the devs, you get a low D-max. This may
be fine for an interpositive but not great for the final neg.

                        CHEERS!

Ilford Ortho + in Ilfotec HC gave me a very nice flat line @ 6:00 w 68F
1:31. 1ft/cd with 4 seconds of exposure under the enlarger was a very close
start on normal negs.

Since Kodalith seems to be discontinued, I'm looking for an ortho sheet film

I used to do this with Kodalith with good results and wondering if anyone
has worked with Arista

Thanks!
