Okay so I'm not exactly answering the question but then. The F4s with manual
lenses will work peachy.  It's not small but in my hands it's very well
balanced. If you stick an autofocus lens on it then it's not manual in any
sense of the word.


I love my F4's, but the F4 is an electronic camera - batteries die, no pix.

One thing to bear in mind as you are getting older .... is the diopter adjustment found in the upper-end cameras. Having my eyes change on me over the last few years, it's been great to just make an adjustment on the finder to keep things in focus.
