Define Legit.... Free is free and easy. Yes, I get a lot of spam from gmail
when the filter is off.
Yes, I realize I limit who I can email with, but..... if I know someone is
going to contact me, I shut the filter off.

Have you had a real problem with Gmail accounts? I've been using a
gmail account since very early-on (back when they were sorta hard
to get) and I haven't noted a lot of spam coming from legitimate
Gmail addresses.
