Hi,

Strange that they should have Arbus carrying a Rollei since she used a C330 most of the time. She claimed to like the interchangeable lens system. That'll be my next TLR.

Cheers,
Bogdan

Speaking of movies, what ever happened to that film on Arbus that was
supposed to come out ?

Hi Justin !
I don't know for USA but in France it is on the theaters now. it is called "Fur"
and is not a film about Arbus. It's a strange "thing" with Miss Nicole Kidman
carrying everywhere a Rolleiflex with flash attached. One cannot see Arbus's
picts, but she is told to be a very good photographer.
IMHO not a very good movie, and it does not make justice to Mss Arbus. I thought
she could have been better served ....
There is another film on the screens quite experimental made by 2 young french
guys and diplaying the work and showing the works of William Eggleston. The
title is : "By the Ways, A Journey with William Eggleston".
Unfortunatelly, Mr Eggleston does not speak too much... "But, the footage is
excellent..."
