Confirmed, it is the water soluble anti halation layer. You will always see
this with the pre-wash bath with 120, or otherwise when you pour out the
developer

I don't use these films or a pre-wash, but get the same with other films. My
guess is that it is just the anti-halation layer washing out. No harm.
