Hi Binzhous, Arik,

It appears that the graph theory group is going to cover "covering graphs".
During last week's Algebra seminar, graphs were used as an example of covering
spaces so I think the undergraduate audience from that seminar might be
interested in this topic. Do you guys think it would be appropriate to
advertise to them as well?

Thanks,
Adrian.

Dear all,

Here is the information on the Discrete Structure and Algorithms Reading Group
meeting this week.

Time: 10:00-11:30, Wednesday 29 May 2019

Venue: Belz Room, Peter Hall building

Speaker: Yan Peng Wang

Topic: Covering Graphs

Abstract:
First, we introduce the definition of covering graphs and related examples and
results.
Then we study voltage graphs which are an important class of covering graphs.
Finally, to analyse the relationship between base graphs and covering graphs,
quotient graphs will be discussed.
