Software Freedom Day is FSHM's annual event
to meet the public and talk to them about Free
Software, changes in the domain of technology,
concerns regarding the use of technology in their
everyday lives.
Every SFD is also a convergence of the continuous
efforts of numerous people culminating with the
massive efforts required for the day itself.
Required contributions -
Everyone
- Volunteer to host a stall on the day of the exhibition.
- Help in doing the legwork to meet different heads
of institutions and invite their staff, students for the event.
- Donate money to finance food for volunteers, materials
& other expenses for exhibition and certificates to
volunteers.
Students / Teachers / Faculty
- Fix a date with your management / HoD for us to
invite your institution / dept's faculties and students.
Employed
- Please spread the word at your office, bring your
colleagues to the event. This is a great opportunity
to talk to them about FOSS adoption.
