No i am not, but that's okay. We are a charitable organization and give
such devices free to blind persons. You are selling the ptr1 which is no
longer supported by IRTI. The ptr2 is the current device and does much more.
That's okay, you said to make you an offer and i did. have a great day.

Surely you are kidding right? $100. I think not.

I don't know if this is okay but I'm wanting to sell one of my
ptr1's. I have 2 and don't use the other as much as I thought I would. They are
in excellent condition. Make me an offer.

            Hi,

I spoke to the Plextor guy at Sight Village. He showed me his new
product. It's like an enlarged Milestone 311 but with lots more buttons. I
guess in area it is about 5" (125mm) x 3" (75mm). I am sure it will have a
line in. Everything is done from the SD card and so CD material would need to
be transferred to it. It has a USB facility for this. I was disappointed to
be told that they no longer deal with the PTR1 and anticipate finishing with
the PTR2 next year. He reckons CD's would be on their way out in 3 or 4 years!!

The new product did not endear itself to me. I think my PTR1 is
just great and am sure I would feel the same if I had a PTR2 but this device
looks too compact for me and I reckon CD's will be around for ages - you can
still get compact cassettes ok can't you, and they were supposed to be at an
end years ago.

            Steve
