Hi Amie,
Yes, the PTP1 does have a Sleep Timer function. You can activate it by
quickly pressing the Power button. Each quick press of this key moves to
the next sleep timer setting. It will step through the settings of 15
minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours.
After this, the next setting is back to the Off position.

I'm too clueless even to ask questions on this list so would understand
entirely if you all high-tailed to some other addy and I didn't get to know.
My Pocket has lain untouched for several months now; wish I could find its
sleep control; it doesn't have one though, does it?

I haven't had sufficient time to move it yet, I will probably get around to
doing this sometime, the issue is it works at the moment so am a bit
